This is the reference library for Green Zen Organic Mulch — the documents that landscape architects, contractors, facilities managers and serious gardeners ask us for most. Six titles are in preparation, covering everything from BOQ-ready commercial specifications to villa-scale maintenance schedules, all written for UAE conditions: sandy alkaline soils, 45°C+ summers, saline irrigation water and the October–April planting season.

How do I request a document?

Message WhatsApp +971 58 654 8551 with the title you need — for example 'Commercial Specification' — or use the contact page. Tell us your role and project type if relevant; the architect guide and commercial spec in particular are more useful when we know whether you are specifying, tendering or installing.

Are the guides free?

Yes, all six titles are free, whether requested now or downloaded here once published. They exist so that Green Zen coconut coir mulch gets specified, installed and maintained correctly across the UAE — accurate documents cost us far less than badly installed mulch costs everyone.

What is in the Commercial Specification?

Material identity (100% coconut coir, no wood or dyes), physical properties, pH range of 5.8–6.8, the 70mm commercial depth standard, coverage and ordering rates per square metre, installation and stem-collar clauses, and maintenance assumptions over the 18–24 month lifespan — written to drop into a BOQ or tender pack.

Who is the Landscape Architect Guide for?

Designers and consultants making decisions upstream of site work: planting-plan annotations, depth standards by application, water-demand assumptions for irrigation design once beds are mulched, and clean specification language. Contractors pricing against a spec will find the Commercial Specification the better companion document.

How is the Installation Manual different from the online guide?

Same method, site-ready format: the how-to-install-mulch page covers the principles, while the manual adds printable checklists, depth-gauge templates, slope and edge details, and a handover snag list — the version you hand to a crew rather than read on a phone.

Can I share these documents with my team or client?

Yes — share them freely and unmodified. The specification may be copied into tender documents and BOQs; that is what it is for. If you adapt the text for a project, keep the material identity and depth standards intact, since those are the parts that protect the result you are specifying.

Will the documents be updated?

Yes. Prices, and occasionally standards, evolve — each PDF carries a version date, and the copy on this page will always be current. If you are holding a version more than a year old, request a fresh one on WhatsApp before quoting from it, particularly the Commercial Specification.
